How to Run C++ Code on a Mac using Xcode (Easy Steps):

1. Install Xcode from the App Store
2. Create a New C++ Project

With Xcode installed, you can now create a new project specifically for C++ development. The best template for this is the "Command Line Tool."

From the Xcode welcome window, select Create a new Xcode project. Alternatively, you can go to File : New: Project from the menu bar.

A new window will open. In the top toolbar, select the macOS tab.

From the list of templates, choose Command Line Tool under the "Application" section.

Click Next.

In the next screen, you will configure your project:

Product Name: Give your project a descriptive name (e.g., "HelloCpp").

Organizational Identifier: This is usually a reverse-domain name (e.g., com.yourname).

Language: From the dropdown menu, select C++.

Click Next, choose a location to save your project, and then click Create.

3. Write and Run Your Code
Xcode will automatically generate a main.cpp file with a basic "Hello, World!" program.

In the Project Navigator (the left-hand sidebar), you will see your project files. Double-click on main.cpp to open it in the editor.

To run the program, click the Play button (the triangle icon) in the top-left corner of the Xcode window.

The output "Hello, World!" will appear in the debug console at the bottom of the window. You can modify the code and run it again to see your changes.
